On Christmas Day (25th Dec. 2024), 45 children of Snehwan were introduced to virtual reality (VR) technology, allowing them to explore landmarks such as Rajgad Fort and the Submarine Museum from their home. This experience was enhanced with the distribution of sweets, adding to the special occasion. The children's excitement was remarkable, especially for those who had never encountered VR before, as they were virtually transported to places they had never seen.
The event's success was attributed to Shri Ashoke Deshmane, the founder of Snehwan, and his dedicated team, along with the organizers from the Ananda Vriddhi Foundation (AVF), including Mr. Krutarth Gokhale, Mr. Prajwal Lohokare, and Ms. Manisha Singh. The children expressed positive feedback and gratitude to the Ananda Vriddhi Foundation and TellMe Digi Infotech Pvt. Ltd., the provider of the VR content.
Snehwan, founded by Ashok Deshmane in 2015, provides underprivileged children with food, shelter, and education and is home to 180 children. The children, some of whom are farm laborers or orphaned children of farmers, also receive training in yoga, music, cooking, farming, and management. Snehwan focuses on the overall development of children to shape the future youth of the country. The feedback from the children was positive. The Organization expressed gratitude to the Ananda Vriddhi Foundation and TellMe Digi Infotech Pvt. Ltd., for organizing the event successfully.
